Brick Wall Restoration & Modernisation
This project involved the careful restoration of a severely damaged boundary wall. The existing structure was in a critical state — visibly leaning into the public footpath and missing large sections, posing a safety risk.
The client’s request was clear: restore the wall in keeping with the original style while ensuring safety and structural integrity. We began by dismantling the unstable section, salvaging and cleaning as many of the original bricks as possible to retain the character of the wall.
With a limited number of usable bricks, we introduced timber fencing panels to complete the elevation. This not only solved the material shortage but also added a contemporary finish that complemented the existing property features.
The result: a sturdy, stylish perimeter wall that preserves the charm of the original while meeting modern standards of safety and design.
